Peter Nilsen

Pete received his undergraduate degree from Lewis and Clark College in 1969, his law degree from the University of Oregon in 1972 and was admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 1972. He has been in practice with the firm since 1973. Pete advises clients on a variety of legal matters including: banking, business and commercial law, real estate transactions, estate planning, trusts and probate.


Roland A. Johnson

Roland received his undergraduate degree from Harvard University in 1971 and his law degree from the University of Oregon in 1974, at which time he became a member of the Oregon State Bar and went into private practice. He joined the firm in 1984. Roland has been an author and speaker for the Oregon State Bar, as well as many other groups, and has served on various Oregon State Bar committees. He has been president of the Phoenix School of Oregon (1995), and the Roseburg Kiwanis Club (1988). Roland advises clients on a variety of legal matters including: estate planning, trusts, probate, business and corporate law, property and contract law, real estate transactions, civil litigation, construction law and family law.


Dan G, McKinney

Dan received his undergraduate degree from George Mason University in 1978, and his law degree from University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law (where he graduated "With Distinction" and was made a member of the Order of the Coif) in 1981. He was admitted to the California State Bar in 1981 and the Oregon State Bar in 1996. He was president of the Riverside County (California) Bar Association. He was a lecturer on real estate law at University of California and presented programs on real estate law for the California State Bar and the American Bar Association. Dan is rated “AV,” the highest rating issued by the Martindale-Hubble attorney directory, and is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocacy (ABOTA). Dan is a litigator; his primary area of practice is real estate and business litigation.
